Japan is the most special country I have ever visited. It is a super diverse country, which has interesting history, culture, food and nature. Because the infrastructure is top-notch you can visit a lot of sights in two weeks.

I recently made my first trip to the Provence and I am already planning on going back! I visited the Provence on route to our stay at the Cote d’Azur. The Provence is especially lovely once you visit in June/July because then it is lavender season and you will be able to visit the lavender fields. Read on to see which cities we visited.

In this blog I will introduce you to some highlights of the Cote d’Azur. I went for a week and managed to squeeze in as much as possible, while still feeling like I was on a relaxed holiday. I chose Antibes as a “homebase” and explored from there. Hielke and I drove to the Cote d’Azur with our own car, which takes about a day from the Netherlands (beware you do not go on “black Saturday” as it will take much longer). What is great about the Cote d’Azur is that all the towns are easily connected by train, so Hielke and I were both able to drink rose all day 😉.
