I have visited the Champagne-Ardennes region twice in a short amount of time. From the Netherlands it is only a short drive (about four hours, depending on where you’re from), the landscapes are beautiful and it is always a good idea to drink champagne for an entire weekend!

Vienna is an amazing city to visit if you love architecture and culture. It is also a perfect hub from where to visit nearby cities such as Budapest, Ljubljana, Salzburg and Bratislava.

I visited Bratislava as a daytrip from Vienna. With a charming and small historical center, it makes for a perfect daytrip!
