On my British road trip I had to bring a visit to Kent, as the region Kent is known as the garden of England and is famous for its lush gardens. Together with the Cotswolds it is one of the greenest areas of England. When we visited in July the hollyhocks were in full bloom, which added extra color to everything we have visited.

I have visited the Champagne-Ardennes region twice in a short amount of time. From the Netherlands it is only a short drive (about four hours, depending on where you’re from), the landscapes are beautiful and it is always a good idea to drink champagne for an entire weekend!

Vienna is an amazing city to visit if you love architecture and culture. It is also a perfect hub from where to visit nearby cities such as Budapest, Ljubljana, Salzburg and Bratislava.
