When we were visiting the South of France for a few days to see the lavender fields, I knew I had to see the Mediterranean too. I absolutely loved our Cote d’Azur road trip a few years ago, when we visited the eastern part of the Cote d’Azur (Nice region). I always knew we had to go back to visit the western part surrounding Marseille. So when we stayed in Sault for a few days we headed south for a day to visit Marseille and the Calanques. The Calanques form a national park with a stunning cliff series, which you can visit to hike and to go swimming. We visited Marseille for half a day, which isn’t nearly enough to explore all this city has to offer, but we loved strolling the old quarter Le Panier and the old Port.

With the lack of travel adventures this year I went all out when scouting beautiful flowers! This blog is a round-up of flower pictures that have not been featured on the blog yet. On the bottom of the blog I included a list with recent book recommendations. Because of COVID I already reached my reading goal for this year (30 books), so I will keep you updated with book recommendations every now and then.

I cannot believe I did not write this blogpost sooner.. people often ask me for recommendations where to get clothes and I will spill my secrets in this blogpost 😉 I actually don’t go shopping very often, buy most of my clothes online and I only shop at very few stores. I am super happy and proud of all my dresses, they hang color-coordinated in my closet and I love browsing through them. I know it is ridiculous that I have this many dresses, but I wear them so often and they make me very happy. I sometimes splurge on a very original or sustainable item, but other than that I am a savvy shopper and I am very good at buying things when on sale and with discount codes, which I will also explain in this blog.
