The Kravica waterfalls in Bosnia have become a very popular activity over the past years. However, there are still ways to enjoy these beautiful falls without crowds. We stayed the night at the campsite which is located right next to the waterfalls, staying here gives you unlimited access to the falls (after you paid the entrance fee) and you can enjoy them in quiet times. The experience in Kravica reminded me of traveling in South-East Asia, with lush nature, which you are allowed to participate in. In this blogpost I will give you a realistic image of what to expect when visiting Kravica waterfalls.

If you are looking for a bayside destination in Montenegro that isn’t overrun by tourists yet, I would recommend to visit lovely Perast. Perast is just a little bit more relaxed than it’s famous sister Kotor and we had a very good daytrip here, even though the weather didn’t fully cooperate. Perast has a good choice of affordable luxury hotels, so staying the night would be a good option too!

If you are visiting Montenegro, Kotor is probably on your list. Kotor has a beautiful UNESCO recognized old city center and I would highly recommend to visit it. However, as it is a cruise destination you have to be smart about your visit. Kotor is not a hidden gem anymore and visiting it requires the right attitude and a good planning.
